BIRDWATCHING AT SEA LEAVEL

Climate and geographical distribution make Ecuador a naturally rich country. Its ecosystems that shelter more than 1500 species of birds, turn the country into a paradise for those enamored with wild life and birds.

Our offer for an exciting trip:

DAY 1. SANTAY ISLAND & CERRO BLANCO
Early in the morning we will visit Santay Island located in the middle of the placid Guayas River. Then we will visit Cerro Blanco, a protected area known for being a habitat for trees that resist months of severe dryness. The order of the visits depends on tide levels.

DAY 2. ECUASAL LAKES
Ecuasal, where salt mines are found, is one of the best studied sites in Ecuador because of its diversity, composition of species, migration dynamics, population fluctuations and other factors related to marine birds.

DIA 3. SILVER ISLAND
Enjoy this amazing island, famous for its great similarity to the Galapagos Islands and for its beautiful tropical landscapes composed of vegetation and dry forest.

DAY 4. AGUA BLANCA & PACOCHE
Discover the natural and cultural secrets of Agua Blanca, a small town located in the middle of a tropical dry forest. Then comes Pacoche, a drizzling rain forest, waiting to display its rich wildlife refuge..

DAY 5. RETURN TO GUAYAQUIL
On the way back, we will have the opportunity for more bird watching along the coastline and the nearby Ecuadorian countryside. Arrival in Guayaquil is scheduled for the afternoon.
